About Dubbo

Dubbo City is indeed a City of many attractions. In fact, there is so much to see and do in Dubbo that you invariably leave with a list of "what to see next time" - There is something here for everyone.

Dubbo is best known for it's world famous Western Plains Zoo, but the real surprise is that there are other very successful and unique tourist attractions that are open to the public and available all year round.

Dubbo City is also geographically located as the ideal place to stay while roaming the surrounding region. Just two hours North West is the spectacular Warrumbungle National Park and the internationally recognised Siding Spring Observatory. Less than 60 minutes east is the famous wine growing township of Mudgee, and historical Gulgong. Even closer at just 30 minutes east, is the beautiful Wellington Caves and Phosphate Mine.
